EncountersWorld is centered on real encounters and original documentation rather than simply collecting general information. Species pages, community observations, learning tools, and field experiences are designed to connect education with what people actually see and discover.

Core EncountersWorld content can be explored for free. Some optional features, downloads, memberships, products, or future premium tools may be offered separately.

People who are legally permitted to use the service may create an account. EncountersWorld is not directed to children under 13. Additional age or parental requirements may apply depending on location.

Depending on which community features are available, members may be able to share wildlife observations, photographs, species information, stories, comments, profile information, and other nature-related content.

Select Create Account and enter the required profile information, such as your name, username, email address, and password. You will also be asked to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before registration is completed.

Use the Delete Account option in your account settings when that feature is available. Once deletion is confirmed, your account is normally scheduled for removal within 24 hours, subject to limited legal, security, fraud-prevention, or backup retention described in the Privacy Policy.

Membership benefits may include exclusive downloads, species resources, early access, special community features, or other member-only content. The exact benefits and price will be shown before purchase.

Recurring memberships will include a cancellation option through your account. Canceling stops future renewals. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, paid access may continue through the end of the current billing period.

Use the community observation form when available. You may be asked for the species or subject, observation type, date, location, notes, and photos. Community submissions are reviewed before appearing publicly.

Use care with exact locations. Do not publish private addresses or highly specific locations that could put sensitive, threatened, nesting, denning, or otherwise vulnerable wildlife at risk.

You keep ownership of your original User Content. By uploading it, you give EncountersWorld the limited rights described in the Terms of Service that are needed to host, display, process, and operate the service.

The community map can display approved observations as interactive markers or clusters. Selecting a marker may show information such as the observer, species, location, date, and related imagery.

Quiz features may include daily questions, points, streaks, badges, and leaderboards. Exact rules can vary by quiz or event and may change as the feature is improved.

Search and Explore features may help you find documented wildlife, domestic animals, exhibits, plants, bones, observations, educational resources, and other EncountersWorld content.

No. Keep a safe and respectful distance, follow local rules, and never intentionally harass, feed, handle, lure, capture, or endanger wildlife to create content.

No. EncountersWorld provides educational and informational content. It is not a substitute for emergency, medical, veterinary, legal, or professional wildlife-management advice.

If a membership is offered as a recurring monthly subscription, the recurring price and billing frequency will be shown before purchase. It will renew automatically until canceled as described at checkout.

Unless stated otherwise at checkout or required by law, completed membership payments are generally non-refundable and are not prorated for unused time. The checkout page and Terms of Service will show the applicable rules.

Paid features are intended to use a trusted third-party payment processor so EncountersWorld does not need to receive or store your full payment-card number.

Check that your email or username and password are entered correctly, try the password-reset option when available, and make sure your browser is allowing the site to function normally. Contact support if the problem continues.
